Ilon Wikland’s classic artwork on tile
The newly renovated middle school premises at Mellringeskolan have been decorated with a tile that no other school has. Designs from Astrid Lindgren’s fairy tales Ronja Rövardotter and Mio min Mio are printed on Everstyle® tiles in the entrance and cloakroom.
The school Mellringeskolan is a unique school. They are completely alone in having Ilon Wikland’s art as a tile decor. In conjunction with a refresh of the premises, Everstyle produced the desired motifs on the tiles and the well-known fairy tale motifs are now an appreciated element in the children’s working environment. The decor has been noticed in the local press and on social media and has generated many positive reactions.
