Pictures on tile for medical students
Länsgården’s central student accommodation in Örebro has received artistic decoration in the form of picture tiles with healthcare-related images, including the classic image of an unborn child from Lennart Nilsson’s book “Ett barn blir till”. A suitable decoration as most of the residents are students attending various medical education programs.
The pictures are mainly from the City Archives, including from the Epidemic Hospital on Skolgatan in Örebro where Länsgården has offices today, as well as from the old Regional Hospital and from Lennart Nilsson’s book “A Child Gives”. The images have been transferred to art tiles by Everstyle and can now be viewed for those who live or visit the student accommodation on Faktorigatan.
