Everstyle has produced over 2700 ceramic art tiles with beautiful exotic birds for 410 hotel bathrooms and about twenty public toilets for the newly opened Haymarket by Scandic on Hötorget in central Stockholm.
The artists behind the bird motifs are John Audubon and Kevin Sloan, hand-picked especially by the hotel’s architects. The tile has a satin matte feel, which creates a nice contrast with complementary shiny tiles! The tile can also be ordered with a high-gloss surface. The design and execution fit perfectly into the beautiful 20-environment that permeates the entire hotel’s atmosphere. Haymarket is a fantastic example of how art tiles can create an additional, deeper dimension and a strong spatial expression.
